Just in time to become the soundtrack to many a barbecue and rooftop party, Purity Ring have released “Fineshrine,” their most pop-influenced track to date. Out today, the second single from the duo’s debut album glitters with rippling background vocals and a surging synth bass. Megan James’ bubbling melodies ring out over snare claps and snaps conjuring up a wonderful concoction of early Passion Pit, summer and fingers tapping on the steering wheel.
The duo’s debut, Shrines, is due out July 24 via 4AD/Last Gang.
