Following his an energetic debut that surprised us all, Ra Ra Riot bassist Mathieu Santos followed teaser track “I Can Hear The Trains Coming” with his full release, Massachusetts 2010. While there’s not many surprises behind the title–the whole album was written last year in The Bay State–the album is a creatively impulsive approach that draws on Santos’ visual artistic focus. Recorded in the span of a few days in New Jersey, the 10-song release is lighthearted and perfectly composed for the fading summer. It’s set to release tomorrow, Aug. 2. Stream the whole thing below.
