From the deepest reaches of my music library comes a new/old demo from Earl Sweatshirt of OFWGKTA. Arguably one of the most talented rappers of this generation, Earl Sweatshirt is no where to be found, but his witty raps and rhymes keep surfacing around the music world. His first appearance, under the name of “Sly,” came from his deserted myspace page (who uses that anymore?) where he has three singles still up for listening purposes, like a monument erected in the honor of someone great. Give these tracks a good listen because their jazzy (yes, that’s right, jazzy) samples and 8-bit video games samples are a refreshing change of pace for the Odd Future gang.
