After Weezy’s original sentencing for gun charges was pushed back for of all things, dental surgery, another incident has sparked officials to delay the court date again.
As reported by the NYTimes City Room blog, a fire at the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time caused for an evacuation of the building. Eight people suffered minor injuries in the fire, with Lil Wayne gaining a little more time to walk as a free man.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
On his twitter, the rapper wrote, “They kant lok up my heart bekuz y’all already have it on lok. ……thank u.” No, thank you for being so articulate, Lil Wayne.
