There’s no doubt about it. He’s still a charmer. At the age of 50, Morrissey is still popping out music at a rate that would put most bands to shame. And he’s doing it with all the style and charisma that saw him define alternative in the 80′s as lead singer of The Smiths.

Twenty-five years removed from his first claim to fame, the guy just cannot stop. His influence is undeniable. At Coachella last year, there were as many Smiths shirts as there were Beatles and Killers paraphernalia, even though most of the kids, like myself, had been born long after the break up of the band.

So when he collapsed last Saturday during a performance in Swindon, England, the music world held its collective breath, as he was dragged off stage by band members and rushed to the hospital. Thankfully though, the guy’s well-recovered and was back on tour in a mere three days after being discharge. I guess nothing can stop this charming man.
